We, at Real Food Solutions, are so excited to continue in the 2015 MassChallenge Accelerator. This past spring, MassChallenge selected us as a finalist in the 2015 MassChallenge Accelerator, and designated us as one of the 200 most promising startups. As a result, Real Food Solutions will work with expert mentors and gain access to industry resources as we continue to grow as a company.
This is a thrilling opportunity for us. According to MassChallenge CEO John Harthorne, “The 200+ startups that will be entering our 2015 accelerator include many of the highest-impact startups in the world. From Boston to London to Israel and beyond, the global distribution of these early-stage companies highlights the universal need and opportunity to provide startups with access to the people and resources that will help them launch and succeed.”
Furthermore, Real Food Solutions is also one of the 2015 Boston Scholarship Winners among this year’s MassChallenge finalists. We thank the Cydan Scholarship for Rare Diseases in particular for their scholarship to us. Because our work at Real Food Solutions has the potential to benefit a variety of disorders and conditions, we are excited for this recognition.
MassChallenge runs startup accelerators designed to catalyze a global renaissance by connecting high-impact startups with the resources they need to launch and succeed. Anyone can apply to MassChallenge, with any early-stage startup, in any industry, from anywhere in the world. MassChallenge does not take equity or place any restrictions on the startups it supports.
With programs in Boston, Israel and the UK, MassChallenge provides entrepreneurs with mentorship, office space, education, access to a vast network, and other resources during four months of acceleration. MassChallenge awards over $1.75 million in non-dilutive grants to the startups demonstrating the highest impact and highest potential. A nonprofit organization, MassChallenge is funded by corporate, public and foundation partners. To date, the 617 MassChallenge alumni have raised over $950 million in funding, generated $486 million in revenue and created 5,104 jobs. For more information, visit www.masschallenge.org.
